1v1 Weekend of Dec 19th at OPP

Ok working out details but Mike Pax wants to run a 1 v 1 event at OPP the second weekend of the month.

We are still working on details but looks like he has a great winner package.

Ok Mike Paxson, Bea and myself are working on the details but early part of discussion makes this as one cool event.


I will post up the specifics later tonight or tomorrow.

All levels of players will be allowed, but the higher level players will have hinderances.

How would I be ranked? I'm thinking low to mid..... right. As far as hinderances go I think being over 30 counts as a big one right? I've also been out of the sport for a while. On second thought maybe I shouldn't enter!

well pax and i talked it over and its going to go somewhat like this

OPEN CLASS TOURNEMENT
that means anybody can play no matter the age,rank etc but if they have an official APPA rank or if we at the field feel like a player should be a particular rank they must face the following handicaps


d1-pro players- use a pump gun
d2-d3 players- use a mech gun i.e ....er,mag tippman etc (no response or assisted triggers
d4-d6-whatever

And it would be just a simple one vs one if you get shot anywhere your dead kinda deal first prize is going to be a ironmen dm9 along with other dye goodies and even some 7th element swag :) but thats mainly craigs field

i feel like we should make the date the week after since i just got an email about there being SPCS that same weekend that way we might try and steal some of those people that play that i really think if we advertise this enough we could draw a decent number of people especially d4-d5 guys and that is the 2 primary divisions in spcs idk just a thought
