J-MONEY is back in the building!!!
I just read this and figured to post it here for all the FL ballers! This has not been made official yet but it looks like it's going to take effect...don't ask me questions b/c I most likely won't have an answer, but once I get the real scoop I will post.

There will be a reduction in legal fire rates beginning in 2008.

If you do not have a board that is able to adjust below 15bps, you will need to get access to another board, or have your board reprogrammed to allow you to operate your gun at a lower rate.

PSP has made a decision as to what we think is best. We are withholding a final decision while waiting for additional discussion with industry and outside industry groups who weigh heavily on this decision.

The moment that I have a final number, I will post it here.

I would recommend that people start to do what is necessary for their guns to operate at around 13.33 bps. I would also recommend that teams start to practice at this rate.

That's what I have to say for now. I may have a definitive or specific answer as early as the first week of January. As soon as a specific number is decided, there will be a press release as well as a post reflecting this decision.

Sup Jay,

Yea this has been in the pipes for a bit now, finally looks like it might happen.

Bottom line is as long as everyone is required to do the same it all should be good, no advantage to anybody.

i dont know why people keep talking about it its not like they listen to us lil people they only care what the people say. We could have a petition of 60 70 percent of the players and they would still change it.

OF you all didnt notice 2007 was a terrible year for paintball and the economy in general. The readon they are doing this is to lower the paint consuption for the sponsors and paint manufacturers. As long as everyone has to abide by it, then it shouldnt make a difference. Im not going to go into it but there are posts on teh nation about how much it will save the sponsors and the teams that arnt sponsored.

And Steve I cant pull the trigger 13.33 times per second lol
